Yuhan’s practice interrogates the politics of otherness, diaspora, and the precarious balance between power and vulnerability. At its core, her work engages with the representation, erasure, and restriction of the body—how it is inscribed, displaced, and negotiated across histories and spaces. Often associated with nature and organic matter, her materials do not function merely as metaphor but as active agents in her inquiry. Fibers stretch, skins rupture, surfaces accumulate traces of touch—matter itself becomes a site of instability and transformation.
